Using any part of the YNGSoftware platform — including YNGNotes, YNGClipboard, or any other service hosted on yngsoftware.com — constitutes your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Services

YNGSoftware provides free-to-use web tools including YNGNotes and YNGClipboard. No credit card is required — now or in the future — to access these tools. Services are provided at no cost as a goodwill offering to our users.

3. Your Account

You sign in using a third-party OAuth provider (Google, Facebook, or Yahoo). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create on the platform — notes, clipboard entries, attachments, and any other data. We do not read, analyse, sell, or use your content for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

Encrypted notes are protected by a password you choose. We do not store or have access to that password. Lost passwords cannot be recovered.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Store or distribute illegal content of any kind.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or individuals.
• Attempt to breach the security or integrity of the platform.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service without authorisation.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without prior notice.

6. Privacy

We do not collect personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to authenticate your identity and operate the service. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Advertising, if introduced in the future, will never be based on your personal information or content.

7. Advertising

The service is currently ad-free. We reserve the right to display advertisements in the future. Any advertising will be general or contextual in nature — your personal data and content will never be used for ad targeting or profiling.

8. No Warranties

YNGSoftware is committed to high quality and operates to a high moral standard. Nevertheless, free tools are provided "as is" without formal warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we cannot guarantee uptime or freedom from errors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YNGSoftware shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of data — arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Your sole remedy is to discontinue use.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
